How we calculate this.
Production: Base case = ~500 L/day fertilizer (182,500 L/year) + ~20,000 kg fish/year per container, derived from the per-container production model. Conservative = 50% of base. Target = 160% of base.
Pricing: Default fertilizer and fish prices vary by region (UAE highest, South Asia lowest). You can change them at any time — they’re defaults, not constraints.
Buy path: USD 350,000 CapEx, USD 140,000 annual OpEx (water, electricity, fish fry, feed, labor, packaging). All fish revenue 100% yours; USD 1/L fertilizer royalty — no royalty on fish. 1-year hardware & operations warranty.
Lease path: USD 50,000 down, then YEAR 1 FREE — no monthly payments in the first 12 months. Years 2–10: USD 2,778/month (= USD 300,000 over 9 years, no balloon). USD 2/L fertilizer royalty — no royalty on fish. 1-year warranty + cancel-and-return guarantee. Title transfers at month 120, or buy out anytime by topping up residual capital to USD 350,000.
Replacement value: Fertilizer used on your own land is valued at 80% of the regional market price for synthetic NPK, capped at your stated current fertilizer spend.
